The GEMS site has been designed to align with best practices identified by Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA and the Web Accessibility Initiative Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (WAI-ARIA) 1.0 for web content and functionality.
